PD-0144: Corrections to formatting and typographic errors in the WLAN Access System PPs

This decision represents a long-term technical decision based on an OD, and may not be the same as the final results of the source OD. With respect to published criteria documentation and scheme documents, it provides suggested guidance on evaluation direction, but is not authoritative. Authoritative decisions are provided through the published criteria documents and published scheme and international interpretations thereof. With respect to published PPs, PDs are authoritative corrections to the PP, based on input from the PP author (if available), that are in force until the publication of the next revision of that PP.

Issue

There are a number of minor edits, formatting and typographic inconsistencies in the WLAN Access System PPs.

Resolution

The following changes are made to the WLAN Access System PPs, as indicated, to correct identified inconsistencies:

1. FAU_GEN.1.1(2), item c

   Version 1.0 and 1.1 of the WLAN Access System PP should be modified replacing "other specifically defined auditable events" with "additional audit events and/or data specified in table 11 below".

2. FCS_CKM.1

   Version 1.0 of the WLAN Access System PP should be modified replacing the entire text of the FCS_CKM.1 requirement with the following text: "The TSF shall generate cryptographic keys in accordance with a specified cryptographic key generation algorithm [ST AUTHOR Assignment: cryptographic key generation algorithm] and specified cryptographic key sizes [ST AUTHOR Assignment: cryptographic key sizes] that meet the following: [ST AUTHOR Assignment: list of standards].

3. FIA_AFL.1.1(2)

   Version 1.0 and 1.1 of the WLAN Access System PP should be modified replacing "[assignment:" with "[ST AUTHOR Assignment:".

4. FTP_TRP.1.3

   Version 1.0 and 1.1 of the WLAN Access System PP should be modified replacing "[assignment:" with "[ST AUTHOR Assignment:".

5. FMT_MTD.1(4)

   Version 1.0 and 1.1 of the WLAN Access System PP should be modified replacing "the Security Administrator or authorized IT entity" with "Administrator or authorized IT entity".

6. FAU_GEN.1(1) Table 9

   Version 1.0 and 1.1 of the WLAN Access System PP should be modified replacing all instances of "the success of failure of the event" with "the success or failure of the event".

7. FAU_GEN.1(1) Table 11

   Version 1.0 and 1.1 of the WLAN Access System PP should be modified replacing all instances of "the success of failure of the event" with "the success or failure of the event".

Support

There are a number of minor edits, formatting and typographic inconsistencies in the WLAN Access System PPs. This PD corrects those inconsistencies.
