Reason: EAL3 Evaluation
Problem:

The UK has a need to evaluate an integrated circuit under CC. In the absence of a better alternative, it is proposed to use documentation developed by the Joint Interpretation Library Working Group. An extension to CEM is envisaged.

Proposed Solution:

CC should adopt the following documentation or produce an equivalent interpretation:

  1. The application of CC to Integrated Circuits, Version 1.0, dated January 2000.

  2. Integrated Circuit Hardware Evaluation Methodology, Vulnerability Assessment, Version 1.3, dated April 1999.
