| Problem:
CC Part2 Annex F.6 explains on the assignment of the minimum number in FDP_IFF.1 as follows. "The minimum number of each type of security attribute should be sufficient to support the environmental needs." I had a difficulty to understand what the minimum number means in this explanations. Also, the "minimum number" is not observed in the assignment in FDP_IFF.1.1 in any disclosed STs. The "minimum number" should be explained with a sample in the CC Part2 Annex F.6 for easier understanding, and should be clarified when it is necessary and when it is not necessary to be specified. |

| Proposed Solution:
Add the following explanations on the minimum number in the CC Part2 AnnexF.6. For each of attributes how many different values the TOE must support (The term 'minimum' is used because the TOE can support more, TOE must support at least this many to support the environmental needs.) An example: security attribute: hierarchical classification level. Minimum number 4 (an example of 4 levels is: unclassified, confidential, secret, top-secret) The minimum number must be justified with respect to each type of attributes to support the environmental needs. |
