PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The BMC Remedy Action Request (AR) System is a development and runtime platform used to build custom applications that automate business processes. It gives administrators with or without programming experience the ability to design and customize workflow-based applications to easily automate business processes. The AR System also functions as the underlying platform for the BMC Remedy IT Service Management (ITSM) Suite of applications. (The ITSM Suite is not part of the evaluated configuration.)

SECURITY EVALUATION SUMMARY

The evaluation was carried out in accordance to the Common Criteria Evaluation and Validation Scheme (CCEVS) process and scheme. The evaluation demonstrated that the BMC Remedy AR System TOE meets the security requirements contained in the Security Target - BMC Remedy Action Request System 6.3 Security Target, Version 4.5, March 28, 2007.

ENVIRONMENTAL STRENGTHS

The BMC Remedy AR System TOE provides cryptographic support, user data protection, identification and authentication, security management, and protection of the TSF features as they relate to the TOE and management of business applications.
